The Guitar League is similar in concept to the baseball system. Even the greatest players (baseball or guitar) had to start at the beginning before moving up. Some got an earlier start than others, and some improved quicker. It's still all about fun and learning. That said, here is the basic structure of the Guitar League. Keep in mind that yours truly will sign in as a Rookie.
ROOKIE LEAGUE - For beginners of all ages. Kids to adults. Basic chords, scales, arpeggios, strumming, finger picking, etc.
MINOR LEAGUE - Intermediate level skills. Already knows the basics, but wants to learn varying chord patterns, 7ths, 9ths. Picking and strumming styles. Mid-level leads. Some reading, tabs. Basic songwriting and recording.
MAJOR LEAGUE - Consisting of "pros" of all levels of experience, ranging from seasoned gigging band members to skilled pros who choose not to play out. Sharing complex theory and fingering. Advanced picking styles (Chet Atkins thumb picking). Advanced leads for rock and jazz guitar. Performance tips, including stage presence, production, marketing, etc. Professional song writing, publishing and recording.

Ultimately, the Guitar League will have Chapters thoughout the nation. As you travel, you will be welcome to attend meetings in any city and feel instantly plugged in to your peers. How cool.
